Bimmer Mobile Specialist Magnet

There are a few restaurants (like Fuzzy's Tacos) in our area that will allow local businesses to advertise in their restaurants. Several of the restaurant walls are covered in sheet metal...perfect for a giant magnet! Phil and Tasha, owners of Bimmer Mobile Specialist, asked me to design an 11x17in Magnet Advertisement that they could hang on the walls of the restaurant to let potential clients know about their business. The QR code makes it easy for people to look up their website using a smart phone and the clean design should differentiate them from other more cluttered designs that populate the restaurant walls.

Leah's Sweet Treats SOLD OUT Sign

Leah bakes around 20 dozen cupcakes fresh every morning to sell in her bakery. The flavors vary from day to day including, red velvet, banana chocolate chip, confetti, double chocolate, etc. I think she has almost 30 flavors to choose from and on any given day you can sample 6-7 of those flavors. A few days a week she actually sells out of cupcakes before the end of the day so she asked me to design a Sold Out Sign that she can hang from her bakery door to let people know they have to come back the next day to sample her tasty treats. The sign itself will be 12x20in printed on photo paper, laminated, and hung with a suction cup on her glass door...inexpensive and effective!

Bimmer Mobile Specialist Business Card and Postcard

Business Card

 Thank You Postcard

My friends Phil and Tasha at Bimmer Mobile Specialist have just hired a new Master Technician. This is great! They are so busy they needed another pair of hands to help with the workload. Tasha asked me to make business cards and thank you postcards for their new hire. The thank you postcard is sent out to clients after each service appointment...very cool!

Leah's Sweet Treats Box Sign

Leah called and wants to create a box sign that will stand outside of her bakery to draw in foot traffic. She really wanted people in their cars driving up and down her street to immediately recognize what it is she sells....cakes and cupcakes. While dreaming up a design for the sign I had a slightly medieval thought. Quick history lesson...Back in the 16th in 17th centuries so many people were illiterate that shops used pictures of what they sold instead of words on their signs. That way even if you couldn't read, you still knew exactly what kind of products the shop sold. I've applied this idea to Leah's sign. Super graphic, super simple. People driving or walking up and down her street will know in an instant what it is she sells. I figure the brain makes associations more quickly with images than it does words :)

Jim Thorpe Logo

2012 marks the the 100 year anniversary of Olympian and all-around amazing athlete Jim Thorpe and his achievements in the Olympic Games of 1912. I have had the honor of designing a logo that will be used for advertising and sponsorships to commemorate the Centennial Celebration of Jim Thorpe at the 2012 Olympics. My client, Meridian Sports Management, asked for a logo that was official, historical, and important looking. Above are all the mock-ups I created for my client...so far, their favorite is the one on the bottom left. Of the four, I think it's the most modern take on a historical logo.

Leah's Sweet Treats Coupon

I designed this web coupon for Leah to use on Facebook. She'll post it once a month for people to print out and bring in to the bakery. Black and White was the way to go so no one uses up their color ink printing the coupon. Very Cool!

Store Hours

Leah needs a window decal to display her bakery hours but we can't just do ANY OLD THING...so we have an exact die cut vinyl decal...22x15in ready to go on her store window. Her windows are tinted so I've put the design on a dark gray background so you can get an idea of what it would look like on her bakery door.

Save the Date

Soooo....One of my clients called me up over the weekend to tell me that her beautiful daughter is getting married! So fun! She's having a New Year's Eve wedding and wants to send out a Save the Date right away so people can mark their calendars. Her colors are blush and ivory and she wants something flowy and romantic. The design will be printed onto 4x6in magnets so guests can stick them on their refrigerators. I gave her three different options in terms of color-scheme...can't wait to see which one she picks!
