The Rotary Club of Highland Village also asked me to design a raffle ticket they can use for upcoming charity events...I made the ticket pretty generic so no matter what charity they are working to benefit, they can use the same ticket :)

Formal But Tacky Ball Web Flyer

The Highland Village Rotary Club is gearing up to host their 3rd annual Formal But Tacky Ball at the Lantana Country Club in March. They've asked me to design a web flyer they can send out to everyone they know...the event is benefitting children's charities this year so I wanted to keep it fun and use fonts and text in chalk-ish colors. For the past two years, I've designed a new logo for each party...this year I designed the flamingo logo with the hope that they'll use it year after year. Using the same logo should help build some awareness about the party...who can forget flamingos in formal wear?!

Dr. Olivarez is a super cool family physician in Fort Worth...he's a friend of the Mariposas's Latin Kitchen girls, Crystal and Irma. Dr. O is getting ready to open up a string of clinics in the area and asked me to work on a logo for him. He wanted it to be fresh, healthy, and clean looking. He came up with the name and basic color scheme...I put it all together. I'm very happy with the result. Next, we'll work on business cards, a web site, and other marketing materials :)

Halloween at Leah's Sweet Treats

I designed this web flyer for Leah so she can let everyone know what she's got going on at her bakery this Halloween. A lot of information to fit in such a compact design but I think it worked out well :) Today she sent this flyer out in an email to all her clients and posted it on Facebook...can't wait to try some of these "spooky" flavors!

TCU at Leah's Sweet Treats

I've designed some really fun Frog paraphernalia for Leah :) From the "Frog Day Friday" coupon, to her "Frogs Love Cupcakes" t-shirts, to her very own "Frog-fetti" cupcake flavor, I'd say Leah's got TCU covered!

Formal But Tacky Ball

For the past 3 years, the Highland Village Rotary Club has put on the Formal But Tacky Ball. Usually, the ball has been held in October and benefitted Breast Cancer Awareness Charities...but this next year, the ball will be held in March and will benefit Children's Charities. I wanted to design a logo for the party that can be used year after year no matter what charity the club decides to support.  Like a wedding invitation gone wrong the flamingos add just the right amount of tackiness to their formal attire :)

Halloween at Leah's Sweet Treats

Halloween is just around the corner and Leah has some great new Halloween Flavors. I designed new flavor magnets as well as a translation card so you know what the heck is in those cupcakes....they're SCARY GOOD!

Mariposas Latin Kitchen Food Label

Here are the new food labels for Mariposa's Latin Kitchen tortilla chips and salsa. The black and white version of the logo I created is so pretty and, thankfully, less expensive to print :)

What is Mariposa's Latin Kitchen anyway?
Crystal and Irma are the mother and daughter team at the heart of Mariposa's Latin Kitchen in Fort Worth, TX. With culinary influences from Cuba, Mexico, Spain, and Puerto Rico, their enchiladas, taco, tamales, and empanadas highlight their passion for the food they create and the people who eat it. Like Leah's Sweet Treats on Facebook

Leah had this cool idea make a Like Us On Facebook mini business card. This way, she can hand a card to anyone who might be interested in her Facebook page.

Mariposas Latin Kitchen OPEN NOW

Mariposa's Latin Kitchen opened on Friday, September 28th. Crystal and Irma said the turn-out was fantastic! I got to stop in and see the finished restaurant a couple of days ago...looks wonderful! It's so much fun to see all my designs in action :) The signage, window decals, menus, food labels, logo, website, and other print materials all came together to make something really great!
